Well here is the start of my story and development of this product which started 5 years ago.

I was searching for a system that allowed me to fish and steer my boat at the same time. At times I would fish alone with out family and friends. One day I had a vision of steering my boat and not having to shut the boat down every time I had a fish on. My other thought was how can  I run 2 rods or more and deal with both lines in the water when I get a fish on. Exactly the reasons behind the development of www.wirelessboatsteering.com.

First of all, nothing worse then shutting the boat down completely and being at the mercy of the waves, wind and weather elements. Mother Nature is not always our best friend while fishing. She blows boats around and rocks them at the same time.

I have tested this system myself for 5 years and finally came up with the perfect wireless remote system,  linear actuator combination. I have tried many actuators and I believe this system is now easy for anyone to install them-self or have a mechanic install it for them.  You get full directions on install and use with step by step instructions and videos also.

I seen a couple of systems and they were hydraulic driven. Definitely not for my boat. Expensive and a ton of work to install it.

I seen a couple of wired systems and only worked on a kicker motor. Great system but again expensive and you had a long wire attached to the system and man what a pain in the butt that is, especially with friends and family on the boat. Let alone having my dog on the boat as well. Just seemed too dangerous and awkward.
